A note from Kechi
A love of beauty.
A purpose with people at its heart.
Kechi Shellian Boniface
Founder, Ingressible

During college, an infection affected my sight. For three consecutive years, I experienced blindness in one eye at a time. Losing depth perception changed how I moved through the world.
In that difficult chapter, makeup helped me reconnect with myself. Fragrance became a comfort. I found beauty in my storm.
I am no longer partially blind, but that experience continues to shape why this work matters to me. I want people to explore a fragrance, open a lip gloss or choose a shade without an overlooked barrier deciding the experience for them.
My accessibility work across enterprise, state and federal government brings professional practice to that purpose. My background in Section 508 evaluation and WCAG informs how I establish tasks, investigate barriers and document evidence. I bring that discipline together with a genuine love of fragrance and makeup: the story behind a scent, the pleasure of discovery and the personal meaning beauty can hold. Ingressible’s beauty accessibility criteria translate POUR into relevant digital, shopping and product checks. We begin with your vision and customer goals, then recommend practical ways to expand participation while preserving what makes your brand yours.
